Classes

This is a list of classes we are available to teach at events or as group private lessons. More detailed prerequisite lists and lists of exactly what will be covered in each class are available upon request.

No Knots*, No Frictions

Beginner-friendly, floor, all levels adaptable

Who says you need to know 10 different harnesses to have fun, hot floor scenes? Using only a lark’s head (*ok, maybe one knot) to anchor to the body, we’ll explore different variables you can play with to quickly achieve headspace and create a connective rope scene on the ground. This class will get you out of your head and expand your landscape of possibilities.

Body Manipulation and Locking 101

Beginner-friendly, floor, all levels adaptable

Have you ever tied someone on the floor, moved them into a new position, and had your rope go slack, breaking the flow of your scene? In this class, you’ll learn how to smoothly manipulate and lock the body against itself to create more stable ties and increase sensations of bondage without structured harnesses. Ben and Gina pull from Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, contact improvisation, and other movement practices to help you create elegant locks with minimal rope.

Body Manipulation and Locking 201 - “Wringing Out the Last Drop”

Intermediate, floor, communication knowledge and risk management required

In this class, we’ll “wring out the last drop” by locking the body against itself, finding end ranges of motion, and adding layers of intensity until you hit that sweet spot where you feel like you’ve gotten every last bit of juice out of the tie. We’ll explore intermediate body locking concepts, ways to think about improvisation and choice-making, and utilization of structured harnesses as leverage points. If you want to find out how it feels to be wrung out like a rag, this class is for you.

Body Manipulation and Locking 301 - “Creating Intense Partial Suspensions”

Int/Adv, experience in partials, communication and risk management required

In this class we’ll add another dimension to body manipulation and locking. Starting on the ground, we’ll explore moving and locking the body and using both structured harnesses and improvised tying to begin play. We’ll find any remaining degrees of freedom our bottoms have and slowly, deliberately take them away by adding uplines to change the forces acting on their body as we move into partial suspension.

Bamboo on the Body

Intermediate, floor, some technical rope skills, safety and communication knowledge, and risk management ability required for participants

Learn to incorporate bamboo on the body in dynamic and restrictive ties. Knots and lashings specifically used for body bamboo will be covered along with relevant risk assessment.

Body Bamboo in Suspension

Advanced, participants must have suspension experience regardless of role

Go deeper into body bamboo by bringing it into partial and full suspensions. Leverage bamboo against the ground, the frame and the models body in space to create unique experiences, beautiful shapes, and memorable scenes.

Body Mechanics of Breath Restriction

Advance, floor and suspension classes

In this class we'll explore breath play from many angles: body positioning, suspension sequencing, harness selection, and harness leverage in dynamic suspensions.

Grappling and Restraint in Rope

All levels adaptable, floor

Do you love physically intense play and want to learn how to add rope to your wrestle-y scenes? In this class, you’ll learn how to use rough body play and body locking principles to create stable, restrictive floor ties and increase sensations of bondage without needing to know structured harnesses. Ben and Gina pull from Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, contact improvisation, and other movement practices to help you completely bind the body with minimal rope.
